PUBLIC POLICY
MTA's outstanding regulatory and legislative advocacy operations effectively represent the interests of Montana's independent telecommunications providers at all levels of state and federal government. In addition to daily contact with state and federal government officials, MTA submits formal comments at the Montana Public Service Commission (PSC), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Montana Legislature and U.S. Congress, among others.
2009 Legislative Session - MTA's (short list) "Preference List" chronicles the bills, resolutions and bill drafts with which MTA is currently reviewing and monitoring.
